My name is Oscar. I'm 9 years old and I'm writing my review of Alex Cohen and Alberto Aguilar's art show at Compound Yellow. When I saw Alex's post on Instagram and it said it was playful I was a bit confused about what he meant, but when I saw the show at the gallery I knew what he meant. I thought it was playful because some of the art was everyday objects that were animated like there were shovels and a paintbrush that had faces painted on them also it had pictures of Alex and Alberto wrestling. One of the most interesting pieces of art to me was the paintbrush with a face painted on it I thought it was interesting because it's kind of a brain twister because your painting the thing with the thing that your painting with. In conclusion, the show was 5 stars.
