SPECTRAL PSALM: an activation
On Saturday, June 13 join Marty McConnell and Lindsey Dorr-Niro for an afternoon of open exhibit viewing, meditations, and writing reflections. The event will culminate in an artist talk/performative lecture at 6 p.m. Come and go as you please, stay for part or the entirety, the event is completely free!
Spectral Inquiry – Schedule
4 PM – Space opens, people gather
4:15 - 4:45 – Guided meditation on “impermanence,” exploring the ever-changing and radically open nature of reality and ourselves. No meditation experience necessary!
4:45 - 6 PM – Open time to organically experience the work with some optional, self-guided writing/reflection prompts from Marty. In true WONDER•ING fashion, there will be snacks/beverages and plenty of spaciousness. The exhibition includes a 30 minute video work and an installation in a separate space.
6 - 6:45ish – Artist talk by me + presentation of a related text with poetic interpolations by Marty
6:45 - 7 PM – Closing
