Terrain Biennial: Opening Celebration at Compound Yellow!
Compound Yellow will take part in Terrain Biennial’s outdoor public art exhibition from October 1st- November 15th!
The Terrain Biennial originated in Oak Park in 2011 by the beloved artist, Sabina Ott.
We are delighted to continue our neighborhood’s tradition of experiencing public art by being a host site for a group of 10 incredible artists.
We hope you’ll join us for a special workshop and performance on October 21st by our artist in residence, Keeley Haftner. Haftner’s work in the Terrain Biennial, titled "Tesselescence (Umbrella Flag): World Thrift Day," will be paired with a workshop in which participants will learn how to make their own garments from scrap fabric. The piece will remain on view for the duration of the Terrain Biennial at Compound Yellow until Nov 15th.
