Michael Zerang was born in Chicago, Illinois, and is a first-generation American of Assyrian descent. He has been a musician, composer, and producer since 1976, focusing on improvised music, free jazz, contemporary composition, puppet theater, experimental theater, and international musical forms. His latest record, DRAW BRIDGE is a duo with pianist Sophie Angel and was released December 13, 2024 on Relative Pitch.

Chad M. Clark is a Chicago-based guitarist. Immersed in the instrument’s physical properties, his palette is a measure of size, encompassing both finite and infinite magnitudes. His latest record, Furs Surf, was released April 4th, 2025 on Personal Archives.

Jason Stein is an internationally recognized bass clarinetist and composer and is among the handful of jazz musicians who play the bass clarinet exclusively. Stein leads the acclaimed trio Locksmith Isidore as well as his own quartet, and he is an indispensable contributor to several of the leading bands on Chicago’s jazz and improvised music scene.

Bill Harris is a percussionist, improviser, and audio engineer in Chicago. He also operates and produces for Amalgam, a Chicago-based label and collective, and co-operates Chicago recording studio Marmalade.

Caroline Jesalva is a violinist and vocalist traversing the worlds of experimental music, improvisation and contemporary classical music.
