Cinchel + Akosuen + Jendon Trio

Using various electronic and acoustic instruments, the performers this evening will explore new sonic textures and spaces. they will aim to provide an environment of peace and harmony to rest our tired minds

Cinchel/Akosuen/Jendon - “Three people, 14 to 15 strings between them. Many pedals, too. We may be angry, frustrated and full of hate, but we promise not to make that your problem. Instead, we offer you simplicity and focus. Pure light for an impure world. We strive for long tones and deep textures.”

An example of the Music that we will play as a trio can be heard here

Cinchel: mostly a guitar player focusing on improvisation and abstraction of guitar sounds through effects.

Akosuen: is a music and performance project by Billie Howard involving sounds that focus on breathing cycles, chronic pain, and mediation on both quiet and extremely loud sounds. Billie will be playing violin and affects for this group

Jendon: Neil Jendon will be playing upright bass and effects. Neil’s solo work explores improvised/noise and electronic stuff. Also, some solidly rock and pop stuff.
