Jorge Lucero is conducting 20 interviews that will take the form of a book produced by Compound Yellow and Conceptual Art & Teaching called Alongside Teacher. The interviews capture the urgencies that Compound Yellow concerns itself with, while at the same time offering ways of working and postures of thinking for creative practitioners worldwide.

Jorge Lucero is an artist, born and raised in Chicago. He currently serves as the Chair of Art Education at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. His project Conceptual Art & Teaching aims to tease out the intersections of those two ways of being.
